Dear Councillors,
You are hereby summoned to attend the next meeting of Mareham le Fen Parish Council Playing Field Committee which will be held on WEDNESDAY 2nd NOVEMBER 2022 commencing at 7.15pm in the Mareham le Fen Community Centre.
Face coverings are not mandatory but welcome if anyone wishes to wear one. Parish Council business must be conducted in a public meeting (except for items deemed to be confidential and not in the public interest). Items to be discussed are shown in the agenda.
If you cannot attend the meeting, please send your apologies to the Clerk with reasons.
PRESS AND PUBLIC WELCOME. There will be a public forum at this meeting starting at 7.15pm prior to the start of the parish council meeting when parishioners may ask questions or raise issues of local interest with the parish council for up to the first 15 minutes of the meeting. The chair of the meeting may limit the amount of time that each person may speak. The formal Committee meeting will commence at the end of the public forum. Members of the public may not speak during the Committee meeting unless the Chair of the meeting allows this.

AGENDA
1. Apologies for absence with reason given
2. Declaration of Members’ interests in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and requests for dispensations (Disclosure by all members present of disclosable pecuniary interests in matters on the agenda that have not already been declared on their Declarations of Interests form. Councillors may not take part or vote on items they have a pecuniary interest in unless granted a dispensation. Requests for a dispensation should be sent to The Clerk by email or at the start of the meeting).
3. To approve the Terms of reference for the Playing Field Committee.
4. To receive the offer of a lease to the Parish Council for the Playing Field and
a) to discuss the terms and conditions, and
b) to consider the information required and negotiations the council may wish to undertake with the land owner and
c) consider the methods and results of consultation and
d) decide other steps the Council may consider necessary if a lease is to be agreed.
5. To consider and approve budgetary requirements for this Committee.
6. To note the progress of the Community Asset nomination with East Lindsey District Council.
7. To resolve to exclude the media and the public to consider items that may include the disclosure of confidential information regarding contracts and legal matters in accordance with S.1(2) Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960
8. To consider and approve legal matters and contracts if necessary.
