24th March 2022 Council Meeting

Dear Councillors,

You are hereby summoned to attend the next meeting of Mareham le Fen Parish Council which will be held on THURSDAY 24TH MARCH 2022 commencing at the end of the Cemetery Committee meeting in Spitfire Room, Mareham le Fen Community Centre to consider items that need urgent consideration.    Face coverings are not mandatory but welcome if anyone wishes to wear one. Parish Council business must be conducted in a public meeting (except for items deemed to be confidential and not in the public interest).  Items to be discussed are shown in the agenda.

If you cannot attend the meeting, please send your apologies to the Clerk with reasons.

PRESS AND PUBLIC WELCOME.  There will NOT be a public forum at this meeting. Members of the public may not speak during the Parish Council meeting unless the Chair of the meeting allows this.

2. Declaration of Members’ interests in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and requests for dispensations

(Disclosure by all members present of disclosable pecuniary interests in matters on the agenda that have not already been declared on their Declarations of Interests form. Councillors may not take part or vote on items they have a pecuniary interest in unless granted a dispensation. Requests for a dispensation should be sent to The Clerk by email or at the start of the meeting).

3. To receive the draft minutes to be approved as the minutes of the meeting held on 16th March 2022.

4. To consider any matters arising from the minutes of 16th March not already on this agenda.

5. To approve payment schedule.

6. To approve purchase of benches and noticeboard.

6. To note and consider the 3-year financial plan.

7. To receive and consider the internal auditor’s report.

8. To consider the arrangements for the Annual Parish Meeting including items to consult residents about.

9. To receive the first draft of the parish council’s newsletter for distribution around the parish in April and consider delivery arrangements to the 400+ homes in the parish.

10. To discuss potential options for the Playing Field and approve any actions to be taken.

11. To meet and consider any applicants for co-option to the parish council following the Co-option Policy and Procedure.

12. Date of next ordinary meeting – 20th April 2022 and the dates of any committees and extraordinary meetings planned.
