5th January 2022 Extraordinary Council Meeting

Dear Councillors,

You are hereby summoned to attend the next meeting of Mareham le Fen Parish Council which will be held on WEDNESDAY 5TH JANUARY 2022 commencing at 6.30pm in the Spitfire Room, Mareham le Fen Community Centre.

This extraordinary meeting has been called by the Chair to conduct urgent business that was delayed by the cancellation of the 15th December 2021 meeting.

The business to be dealt with at the meeting is listed in the agenda.

The majority of the meeting will be in a closed meeting due to the confidential nature of the business.

Covid restrictions mean that face coverings are mandatory in indoor public settings.

Parish Council business must be conducted in a face to face meeting. 

PRESS AND PUBLIC WELCOME but will have to leave the meeting when the parish council decides to discuss confidential matters. There will NOT be a public forum at this meeting.

  3. Declaration of Members’ interests in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 (Disclosure by all members present of disclosable pecuniary interests in matters on the agenda that have not already been declared on their Declarations of Interests form or put in writing to the Monitoring Officer at East Lindsey District Council. Councillors may not take part or vote on items they have a pecuniary interest in unless granted a dispensation). 
  4. To consider requests from members for a dispensation on any items on the agenda (In accordance with the Localism Act 2011 the Parish Council has the authority to grant any members present a dispensation on their disclosable pecuniary interest so that they may take place in the debate and vote) 
  5. To receive the draft notes to be approved as the minutes Full Council Meeting 24th November 2021. 
  6. To confirm the appointment of Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer of Mareham le Fen Parish Council. 
  7. To confirm the dates of full parish council meetings for 2022 and to approve booking meeting rooms in the Community Centre - 19/1, 16/2, 16/3, 20/4, 18/5, 15,6, 20/7, 17/8, 21/9, 19,10, 16/11. 
  8. To approve a Co-option Policy and Procedure 
  9. To resolve to go into closed session to exclude the press and public to discuss the Parish Clerk’s employment contract and other HR issues that are confidential. (Local Government Act 1972 Schedule 12A (1)).
