Dear Councillors,

You are hereby summoned to attend an extraordinary meeting of Mareham le Fen Parish Council which will be held on THURSDAY 30th MARCH 2023 commencing at 7.30pm in Spitfire, Mareham le Fen Community Centre preceded by a public participation period commencing at 7.15pm.   Parish Council business must be conducted in a public meeting (except for items deemed to be confidential and not in the public interest).  Items to be discussed are shown in the agenda.

If you cannot attend the meeting, please send your apologies to the Clerk with reasons.

PRESS AND PUBLIC WELCOME.  There will be a public participation period at this meeting starting at 7.15pm prior to the start of the parish council meeting. Parishioners may ask questions or raise issues of local interest with the parish council for up to 15 minutes prior to the start of the Parish Council meeting.  The chair of the meeting may limit the amount of time that each person may speak.  The formal Council meeting will commence at the end of the public forum. Members of the public may not speak during the Parish Council meeting unless the Chair of the meeting allows this.

Declaration of Members' interests in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and requests for dispensations (Disclosure by all members present of disclosable pecuniary interests in matters on the agenda that have not already been declared on their Declarations of Interests form. 6 ELDC and LCC councillors invited to make verbal or written reports on local matters.

7. To consider and comment with material considerations on any local planning matters as a statutory consultee and to note decisions made by East Lindsey District Council

  • S/114/01809/22 - LAND EAST OF SHERATON, MAIN STREET, MAREHAM LE FEN - Planning Permission - Erection of 30no. dwellings and construction of a vehicular access – to receive and respond to any updates.
  • S/213/02177/22 - LAND AT HILL FARM, MAIN ROAD, WOOD ENDERBY - Planning Permission - Change of use, conversion of and alterations to the 4no. existing agricultural buildings to provide facilities for the importation of virgin timber, wood pallets and wood chip for biomass for the production of dried wood and wood chip for briquette production (off site) and the installation of 6no. 10m high flues – to receive and respond to any updates out for consultation by 28/3/2023.
  • S/114/00203/23 - MAREHAM LE FEN COMMUNITY CENTRE, HORNCASTLE ROAD, MAREHAM LE FEN, BOSTON, PE22 7QL - Planning Permission - Installation of outdoor play equipment to the maximum height of 4.7 metres – to receive and respond to any updates. 
  • S/114/00477/23 - MEMORIAL LAWN, MAIN STREET, MAREHAM LE FEN, PE22 7RL - Outline erection of 2no. dwellings – NEW – comments by 4th April 2023.
  • S/114/00525/23 - LAND ADJACENT MANOR HOUSE AND MANOR FARM, FIELDSIDE, MAREHAM LE FEN - Planning Permission - Change of use of existing buildings from agriculture to automotive parts storage (building A) (Use Class B8) and agricultural contractors workshop (building B) (Use Class B2) (uses already commenced) – NEW – comments by 12th April 2023.

8.  To consider and approve financial matters

b) To receive the accounts for 2022-23 and bank reconciliation.

9. To receive and consider recommendations of the Coronation/ 80th D-Day Commemorations working party.

11. to note any issues arising from the Annual Parish Meeting held on 29th March 2023.
