I hereby give notice that a meeting of the Parish Council of the above Parish will be held at the Bowls Club Pavilion, Mareham le Fen on Wednesday 19th February 2020 commencing at 7.30 or at the rising of the parishioners question time or whichever is the sooner.

There will be a 15 minute question time commencing at 7.15 pm when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Parish Council.

 

  1. Apologies for absence and reasons.
  2. Declarations of interest.
  3. Minutes of the last meeting of the Parish Council held on January 15th to be approved.
  4. Matters Arising.
  5.   Co-option of new Parish Councillor.
  6. Correspondence, for information only.
  7. Freedom of information request, to be discussed. Police advice re freedom of information request.
  8. Planning.
  • S/114/02142/19  Land rear of Horncastle Road PE22 7QU Erection of a detached bungalow to include an ancillary childcare area.
  • S/114/00132/20 Land west of the playing field, Fieldside. Application to vary the approved plans S/114/02301/16 (outline permission granted 8th March 2017).
  • The time limit on both of these applications has been extended to enable the Parish Council to respond.
  • To discuss whether or not the Parish Council should contact MP Victoria Atkins about the planning issues in the Village.
  • Any other planning, not received until after agenda had been published.
  1.  Benches.  To discuss the purchase of 2 benches with grants received from Councillor S Avison and Councillor A Hall.
  2. Cemetery, purchase of land, update.
  3. Finance.
  • Accounts for payment.

12. Discussion about help with the purchase of play equipment.

13.Grass cutting, Parish agreement to be signed.

  • Outstanding work (including at Cemetery) and maintenance to be discussed.

14. Flooding in the Village, purchase of ‘Floodsax’. Follow up of Chairman’s request for audit of Village sewage and flood capacity.

  • Anglian Water, update from Chairman.

15. Update on Chapel repairs.

16. Highway issues.

  • Fallen fencing causing a problem on Main Street.

17. Parish Matters/ items for the next agenda.

 Parish Council website is being changed by LCC, the Clerk will attend a training meeting in March.

The next meeting will be at the Bowls Club pavilion on March 18th 2020 at 7.15
