Freedom Never Gets Old - older persons free bus pass

A campaign to alert members of our community that the national free bus pass is available to those who are above the state pension age. If you are below pension age bus fares are capped at £2.00.

The Freedom Never Gets Old campaign aims to highlight the benefits of the free bus pass these include:

  • Saving Money
  • Improved health and wellbeing
  • Preventing loneliness
  • Access to services
  • Sense of purpose and value to communities .
  • Helping protect bus services
